The total area of the two-room flat, where the exposition is presented, is 60,4 sq. meters. The exposition area is 45 square meters.
The museum's exhibitions consist of Zotshenko's memorial study and literary documents describing the writer's life and activities.
Zotshenko's memorial study: 229 memorial items are on display in the exhibition, which includes 12 pieces of furniture, actually used by the writer in this room.
Literary Exhibition: 327 objects from the main and reaseach archives are on display, among them are documents, manuscripts, photos, books and objects from the writer's everyday life.
The museum's unexhibited collection contains more than 8,985 items: 5,080 items from the main archive-fund and 3,905 items from the research archive-fund.
The museum's library contains 6,404 volumes. The main part of the collection consists of Zotshenko's memorial library, preserved by the famous Moscow literary critic and collector Tomashevsky, who donated it to the museum. A unique collection of first-edition Zotshenko books, published during the writer's life, and also collected by Tomashevsky are also in the library.
